seeds from Minnesota

While I was in MN for Bear Paw, I picked up some seeds from northern Minnesota. I also got some bulbils from lilies my mom has growing in her yard.

Here’s a list of seeds I brought back.

Transplanting Dracunculus

This summer the humus is forming, in your own backyard.

Organic matter mixes with root-filled sandy clay (random guess). The grotesquely shaped bulbs are interred with solemn dignity. Will they grow too tall and shade the Sauromatum guttatum? Will the crimson clover planted on top grow at all in the shade of the maple?

Tune in a month ago next season for the first conclusion to this harrowing epic.

Cameron found the Dracunculus vulgaris above in her backyard, and she’s moving out this week, so I am taking over care of them. They’re planted in my backyard under the maple tree. next to the Sauromatum guttatum
