update: Roots are taken care of. I (with Miles’s help) put up some posts for a cucumber trellis yesterday. I’m going to try to plant the cucumbers today.
I am working on a diagram of my vegetable garden.
Only the garlic is planted so far, but I have a lot of other things to plant, so I thought it would be helpful to plan where to plant them.
Can you weed all that space. I have my garden plan at about the same stage of development, but its on the back of the plant order. Mine is only 20′ X 20′, no roses, lilacs or potatoes (so far) but herbs, green beans and Brussels sprouts.
Hopefully the roommates will help some with the weeding. The lilac and roses are already there and pruned, so not much work there, really. I have herbs in a separate garden. Brussels sprouts are a good idea. I’ll have to consider some more fall/winter vegetables at some point too.
